We had an amazing time at Polyfest in Christchurch yesterday - such a cool experience, and such a beautiful crew of young people. Thanks to the Ministry of Youth Development for supporting us to be able to do these things!

We had an awesome time with Darren and the Gleam Team learning about career opportunities and the history and opportunities within Nelson maritime businesses.This was an awesome day out on the boat (one of NZ's oldest fishing vessels) in the Nelson Harbour. RodBenders Kaikōura Youth Fishing Club lost a significant amount of frozen goods intended for fundraising BBQs and fishing trips due to freezer failure. These amazing people have donated replacement goods for the club to use on their journey. Thankyou!!

Today the Kaikōura Volleyball club team ran a fantastic skills and game session for young people on the high school field. It was so impressive to see the young people on the team take the time out to mentor younger teens and share their skills. Everyone seemed to enjoy the day and get the most out of it - well done Ushche, Josh, Alex and the rest of the team who came along to support!
