Friday Hangouts at the Scout Hall

Come and join in an Amazing Race type activity afternoon at the Scout Hall this Friday 22 August - for years 7 to 11, if you are attending for the first time, can a caregiver pop in and fill out a permission form.

Outdoor Leadership Programme

Later in the year we are running an Outdoor Leadership programme supported through Tū Manawa Sport Tasman, there will be options to become a rafting, camping/bushcraft or marine leader for young people 15-24 yrs.
There's an information afternoon next week Tuesday 22 July, 3pm at Te Hā o Mātauranga.
As well, we are running these skills sessions over 8 weeks this term, with support from Ministry of Youth Development. This is an awesome opportunity to learn from qualified outdoor instructors some of the skills needed to run activities outdoors.
Come along 22nd July 3pm to find out more about both opportunities. Rangatahi aged 15 -24 and whānau welcome to come along.

Scout Hall Fridays!

Te Hā o Mātauranga are running Scout Hall Fridays in Term 3!
We are opening at 1.15pm for year 11's and up (the ones who are allowed to leave school at lunchtime) and young people in the community - drop in for some kai, come and chill, or try out the new pool and table tennis tables.
At 3pm - 4.30 the team will be running activities for years 7 and up - come along and have some fun and hang out for an hour or so. Can parents please either contact Sarah on 0278072874 or drop in to give permission.
